Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • beaten eggs - 3 item
  • cup flour - 1 item
  • cup chopped onion - 1/2 item
  • cup diced onion - 1/2 item
  • cup light cream - 1 item
  • 1/2 cups diced ham - 1 item
  • cups shredded raw potatoes about 4 large - 4 item
  • shredded colby cheese divided
  • 1/2 cups broccoli - 1 item
  • dash of nutmeg and paprika - 1 item

How to make potato crust quiche:

Filling:1 1/2 cups (6 oz.) shredded colby cheese (divided)1/2 cup chopped onion1 1/2 cups diced ham1 1/2 cups broccoli3 beaten eggs1 cup light cream1/2 tsp. salt dash of nutmeg and paprika Combine the crust ingredients. Press into a well greased 10 inch deep pie plate. Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove. Reduce the oven to 350 degrees.

Add 1 cup of the colby cheese, the onion, ham, and broccoli to the crust. Mix the eggs, cream, salt, and nutmeg. Pour over the other ingredients. Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 60 minutes or until set. Remove from the oven and top with 1/2 cup of the remaining cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
