Potato croquettes
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- dry bread crumbs - 1 c
- a little grated onion - 1 item
- potatoes, boiled and riced - 2 lb
- milk, butter and pepper - 1 item
How to make potato croquettes:
Mash potatoes with milk and butter, but leave stiff. Add pepper and onion. Cool to room temperature. Measure 1/3 cup portions; shape into cones. Roll in bread crumbs, then in egg which has been beaten with water. Place on greased cookie sheet; store in refrigerator. Twenty minutes before serving, bake in a 400° oven for 15 minutes, or until brown and crusty.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Potato, Vegetables.
