Barbecued hot dogs
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- chili powder - 1/8 tsp
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- turkey hot dogs - 1 lb
- Tabasco sauce or other hot sauce - 1/4 tsp
How to make barbecued hot dogs:
Slice hot dogs into approximately 1/2 inch pieces. Combine all other ingredients into saucepan. Stir in sliced hot dogs. Simmer until sauce is thick (this takes quite a while). Serve in slow cooker on lowest heat to keep them warm. Have toothpicks near to serve with. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make, Easy.
