Potato corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 item
- chopped green onions - 1/4 c
- can whole potatoes, drained - 1 item
How to make potato corn chowder:
Mash enough potatoes to equal 1/2 cup, then dice remaining potatoes; set both aside. In medium saucepan, melt butter; add green onions and fry 1 minute. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth. Cook, stirring over medium heat until thickened. Stir in potatoes and corn. Cook 6 minutes until thick.Recipe categories: Potato, Soups & stews, Chowders.
