- corn flakes - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- Southern style hash browns frozen - 2 lb
How to make potato casserole:
Brown onion in 1/2 stick margarine in skillet. In large mixing bowl, mix hash browns, cheese, soups, sour cream and salt. Add cooked onion. Melt 1/2 stick margarine in skillet, then add corn flakes. Put potato mixture in 3-quart oblong casserole. Sprinkle cornflakes on top and bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
