Browned rice



  • water - 1/4 c
  • olive oil - 4 Tbsp
  • onion - 1/2 c
  • rice - 1 c
  • can consomme - 1 item

How to make browned rice:

Wash rice; let drain. Fry onions in oil to brown. Remove and fry rice golden brown. Add all ingredients; simmer for 30 minutes. Makes 2 servings.
