Ingredients/Components
- popped corn - 3 qt
- corn syrup - 1/3 c
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- water - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- white vinegar - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make popcorn balls:
In heavy 2-quart pan, stir together syrup, sugar, water, salt, butter and vinegar. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until mixture boils. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until temperature reaches 270° on candy thermometer. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Slowly pour over popcorn, stirring to coat well.
