Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 3/4 c
  • white sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • baking powder
  • baking soda
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • vanilla
  • chopped nuts
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp

How to make polish pound cake:

Nut Filling:1/2 c. chopped nuts1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. cinnamon Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients. Alternate sour cream and dry ingredients. Stir in vanilla. Add half the batter, then filling; alternate. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing.
