Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- Crisco
- plain flour, sifted
- milk and juice from cherries to make 1 c - 3/4 c
- jar maraschino cherries, mashed or chopped - 1/2 oz
How to make cherry pound cake:
Mix all ingredients together, adding eggs one at a time. Bake at 300° in tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Start in cold oven!Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cherries.
