  • flour - 2 c
  • baking soda - 2 Tbsp
  • sugar
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup - 20 oz
  • cream cheese
  • margarine - 1/2 c

How to make pineapple cake with cream cheese icing:

Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1/2 c. margarine1 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients for cake by hand. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

For frosting, cream together, then spread on cake. Sprinkle with additional nuts.
