Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese - 4 oz
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 1 c
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • light molasses - 1/2 c
  • boiling coffee - 1 c

How to make ginger creams:

Frosting:1/2 c. margarine4 oz. cream cheese2 c. powdered sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs, molasses, hot coffee and salt. Sift together flour, soda, cloves, ginger and cinnamon. Add to first mixture. Pour into jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

Frosting: Beat margarine and cream cheese until light. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and chopped nuts.
