Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- small beets - 3 qt
How to make pickled beets:
Cook beets until tender. Combine syrup ingredients and heat to boiling. Boil 5 minutes. Add beets and simmer 15 minutes. Put in hot jars.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Condiments, etc., Salads.
