Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
How to make pickled beets:
For Syrup:4 c. sugar2 c. water2 c. vinegar Select small young beets and cook until tender. Dip in cold water. Peel off skins. Cook syrup. Slice beets and pack into jars. Cover with hot syrup and process in water bath 20 minutes (wipe jars before putting on lids).Recipe categories: Appetizers, Condiments, etc., Salads.
