Ingredients/Components
- cold water - 8 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- pickling salt - 1 c
- cooked beans - 1 gal
How to make pickled beans:
Cook beans until almost done. Pack in jars to 1/2-inch from top. Put water, salt and vinegar in pan (not aluminum). Mix well. Pour over beans and seal. Store in cool place. Makes 4 quarts.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
