Ingredients/Components
- quarts green or yellow wax beans - 4 item
- cider vinegar - 6 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- stick cinnamon - 1 item
- whole cloves - 1 Tbsp
How to make pickled beans:
Cook beans in boiling, salted water until tender, using 1 teaspoon coarse-medium salt to each quart of water. Drain. Pack hot in sterilized jars. Combine remaining ingredients; heat to a boil.
