Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 2 lb
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 2 lb
- white sugar - 2 c
- whole eggs - 6 item
How to make cheese cake:
All ingredients should be room temperature. Grease bottom and sides of a 10-inch spring-form pan with butter. Use graham cracker crumbs and cake on sides and bottom. Preheat oven to 350°. Cream the cream cheese well. Cream in sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat in well after each addition. Add vanilla. Beat in sour cream and beat 5 minutes, scraping bowl often. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour (brown on top). Leave in oven; turn off oven. Leave in for 1 hour. (Door closed, no peeking!) Cool at room temperature completely. Put in refrigerator. Can be made 2 days ahead.Blue Ribbon, Red Rosette.
