Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- light brown sugar
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- plain flour, sifted
- regular sugar - 1 c
How to make pecan crispies:
Thoroughly cream shortening, margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 2-inches apart.
