Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 6 oz
  • all-purpose flour
  • margarine - 1 c
  • light brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • maple flavoring - 1 tsp

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Cream sugars and margarine until fluffy. Add eggs, flavoring and water. Mix well. Mix flour, soda and salt together and add to creamed mixture. Blend well. Add chips and nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto very lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool a couple of minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
