Peanut butter fudge
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- water or milk - 1/2 c
- white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/3 c
How to make peanut butter fudge:
Mix sugar, water and Karo; cook to soft ball stage (240° to 245°). Remove from heat. Add vanilla, butter and peanut butter. Using mixer, beat until thick and no longer shiny.This improves with flavor if you store in covered dish or plastic wrap.
If you double recipe, use 3/4 cup peanut butter.
