  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • sliced fresh peaches - 1 item

How to make peach cake:

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut in batter with 2 knives. Beat egg and add to milk. Mix all together. Grease two 9-inch cake pans. Press dough in pan like you would pizza dough. Place sliced peaches on top of dough. Dot with butter. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
