Ingredients/Components
- yeast - 2 pkg
- water - 1/4 1/2
- cube oleo or butter - 1 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- well beaten eggs - 2 item
- hot water - 1 c
- cold water - 1 c
- flour - 6 7
How to make pat's bread:
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 to 1/2 cup water. Cream oleo or butter, Crisco, sugar and salt. Add yeast and eggs. Then add 1 cup hot water and 1 cup cold water. Add flour. Knead. Let rise in refrigerator overnight or in a warm place. Punch down. Rise again. Shape and bake at 350° in oven 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Yeast breads.
