Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • grated Cheddar cheese
  • sliced hard-boiled eggs - 1 item
  • sliced mushrooms - 1/2 c
  • water chestnuts - 8 oz
  • frozen peas, thawed - 14 oz
  • Parmesan - 1 Tbsp
  • large head lettuce - 1 item
  • crumbled bacon - 1 item

How to make overnight layered salad:

Put bite-size lettuce pieces in bottom of bowl. Layer peas, chestnuts and mushrooms. Frost with mayonnaise and sour cream, mixed. Sprinkle with sugar and Parmesan. Cover with Saran Wrap and chill overnight. Top with grated Cheddar, boiled eggs and bacon before serving.
