Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- shortening - 1/3 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chicken legs - 2 lb
How to make oven-fried drumsticks:
Preheat oven to 425°. Melt shortening in small pan and set aside. In paper bag, mix flour, salt, paprika and pepper. Put 3 or 4 chicken legs in paper bag at a time and shake to coat chicken. Arrange flour-coated chicken in a single layer in ungreased baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch. Drizzle the melted shortening on chicken. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Main dish, 3 steps or less.
