Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chicken legs - 2 lb
- Gold Medal flour - 1/4 c
- shortening part butter - 1/2 c
How to make oven-fried drumsticks:
Melt shortening (part butter). Mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika in paper bag. Heat oven to 425°. Doing three or four at a time, shake in a bag to coat with flour, chicken legs. Place chicken legs in a single layer in an oblong pan (12 x 9 1/2 x 2-inches). Drizzle melted butter evenly over the chicken.
