Oven-fried chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- half chicken per person - 1 item
How to make oven-fried chicken:
Wash chicken in water. Cut away skin and fat. Discard. Cut the chicken into pieces, dip in cold water and wipe dry. Shake the chicken pieces in a paper bag with seasoned flour (flour, salt and pepper). Preheat the Dutch oven. When it is hot, put in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and add the chicken pieces. Brown until golden. Put lid on oven and add coals on top. Bake, basting the chicken occasionally, for 15 minutes.
