Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • cup butter - 1/4 item
  • cup melted butter - 1/2 item
  • cups thinly sliced onions - 3 item
  • small crackers, crushed - 30 item
  • sharp cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
  • 1/2 cups scalded milk to 3 beaten eggs - 1 item

How to make onion pie:

Pour mixture over onion cheese mixture in casserole. Bake at 350 degrees 1/2 hour or until custard sets.
