- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- nuts - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- white sugar - 1 c
- Minute oats - 1 c
- Mix remaining ingredients well and add oatmeal
How to make oatmeal cake:
Mix oats and boiling water; let stand. Mix remaining ingredients well and add oatmeal. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes in greased and floured pan. Top with Caramel Nut Topping.Caramel Nut Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. white sugar1 stick butter1/2 c. coconut1/2 c. nuts In heavy pan, bring to boil for 3 minutes.
