  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 2 1/2
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • walnut halves - 1 item
  • soft butter or margarine - 1 c

How to make mint surprise cookies:

Combine all ingredients but wafers and walnuts. Mix at lowest speed on mixer until dough forms. Press candy wafers into approximately 2 teaspoons dough and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Smooth edges. Top each with walnut half or pecan. Bake at 375° for 9 to 12 minutes.
