- cinnamon
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- plain flour
- Topping:1 stick margarine
- oatmeal pour 1 1/4 c - 1 c
How to make oatmeal cake:
Topping:1 stick margarine1 c. brown sugar1 c. coconut1 egg1/4 c. milk1 c. chopped nuts Cake: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.Topping: Mix well. Pour over cake when done. Brown under broiler for a few minutes. (Check closely; will burn easily.) This cake tastes better on the second day.
