Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- half and half cream - 1/2 c
- small can coconut - 1 item
- Add eggs and mix
How to make nutmeg cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix. Add dry ingredients. Bake in greased 15 x 9 x 3-inch pan at 325° for 30 minutes.Topping:1 c. butter1 1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. nuts1 small can coconut1/2 c. half and half cream Melt butter and mix sugar in. Do not cook.
