Nutmeg cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• brown sugar
• butter - 1/2 c
• nutmeg - 2 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• buttermilk - 1 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• all-purpose flour - 2 c
• nuts - 1 c
• half and half cream - 1/2 c
• small can coconut - 1 item
• Add eggs and mix

How to make nutmeg cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix. Add dry ingredients. Bake in greased 15 x 9 x 3-inch pan at 325° for 30 minutes.Topping:1 c. butter1 1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. nuts1 small can coconut1/2 c. half and half cream Melt butter and mix sugar in. Do not cook. Add cream. Mix in nuts and coconut. Spread on cake and brown under broiler.
