Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- eggs, separated - 6 item
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- pecans - 1 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- oranges - 3 item
- lemons - 2 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
- box coconut - 1 item
- Add egg yolks
How to make japanese fruit cake:
Cream butter; add sugar. Add egg yolks. Add milk and flour, then flavorings. Roll nuts, coconut and raisins in flour and add to mixture. Fold in egg whites. Bake in four layers in moderate oven until done.Icing:2 c. sugar1 1/2 c. boiling water2 lemons3 oranges1 box coconut4 Tbsp. flour Mix sugar and flour. Cut oranges and lemons in small pieces.
