Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- baking powder
- almond - 1/3 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
How to make nut bread:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture alternating with milk; add almond and vanilla. Pour into 3 x 5 x 10-inch loaf pan. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 375° for one hour.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Quick breads.
