Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- cold water - 5 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shortening
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
How to make never fail pie crust:
Cut shortening into flour and salt. Combine egg, water and vinegar. Add the water to the egg before vinegar; pour liquid into flour mixture all at once. Blend with fork just until flour is all moistened. This is an easy crust to handle and can be re-rolled without toughening.
