- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- flour - 3 c
- water - 2 oz
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- can milk - 6 oz
- flavoring - 2 Tbsp
- sticks butter, at room temperature - 2 item
How to make cold oven pound cake:
Blend butter, Crisco and sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour and milk alternately ending with flour. Fold in flavoring. Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 325°. Start in cold oven. Do not open door.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low sodium.
