Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- cold water - 5 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shortening
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
How to make never fail pie crust:
Cut shortening into flour, salt and baking powder. Beat together egg, water and vinegar. Pour all at once into flour mixture; blend with a fork until all flour is moistened. Makes 2 double pie crusts.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
