Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • tomato sauce - 2 c
  • ground pork sausage - 1 lb
  • ground cayenne pepper - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper black - 1 tsp

How to make mexican spaghetti:

Brown meats, onions and green pepper in a heavy skillet. Drain off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese. Simmer for 10 minutes. Pour into a 2-quart buttered casserole or baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°. Top with grated cheese. Return to oven. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve hot with tossed green salad and Mexican corn bread or tortilla chips.
