Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- cooking oil - 2/3 c
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- bell pepper - 1/4 c
- cream-style corn - 1 c
- self-rising corn meal
- grated cheese, divided - 1 c
- hot peppers sauce with juice, chopped - 1/2 c
How to make mexican cornbread:
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except 1/4 cup of cheese. Mix well. Place in a hot greased skillet; sprinkle remaining cheese over the top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
