Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- ground meat - 1/2 1
- bacon drippings - 1/2 c
- corn meal - 1 c
- grated Longhorn cheese - 1/2 lb
- jalapeno peppers, chopped - 4 item
- 303 can cream-style corn
- sour milk 1 c - 1 c
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix the first 7 ingredients and set aside. Brown ground meat and drain. Add cheese and peppers out of the can or jar. Grease iron skillet. Pour half of the batter into pan.
