Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
- creamed corn - 1 c
- corn meal - 2 c
- grated jalapeno cheese - 1 c
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix all ingredients except cheese. Put half of batter into a 9 x 13-inch well-greased baking dish. Sprinkle on cheese. Add rest of batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
