Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- margarine - 1/4 lb
- grated cheese - 8 oz
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- hamburg - 1 lb
- corn bread mix - 3 c
- green chilies, chopped 4 size - 1 c
- creamed or whole corn - 1 c
How to make mexican corn bread:
In a pan, brown hamburg and 1/2 onion; remove from heat and cool. Mix corn bread mix with eggs and margarine; mix well. Add green chilies, corn and onion. Stir well. In a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, put half corn bread mix and meat and cheese. Put rest of corn bread mix on top. Bake at 450° until brown.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
