  • eggs - 2 item
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • salad oil - 2/3 c
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • green pepper, chopped - 2 Tbsp
  • corn meal
  • cream-style corn - 1 c
  • green jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and chopped - 2 item

How to make mexican corn bread:

Mix all ingredients except cheese in order given. Pour half of the mixture into hot, well-greased iron skillet. Sprinkle half the cheese over batter. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of cheese. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
