Mexican corn bread
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- salad oil - 2/3 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- green pepper, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- corn meal
- cream-style corn - 1 c
- green jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and chopped - 2 item
How to make mexican corn bread:
Mix all ingredients except cheese in order given. Pour half of the mixture into hot, well-greased iron skillet. Sprinkle half the cheese over batter. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of cheese. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
