Mexican chicken



  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can each: cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup and cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • plain Doritos chips - 1 item
  • cans whole green chilies, chopped - 2 oz
  • chicken, boned or 4 chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces - 1 item
  • each: Longhorn and Monterey cheese, shredded - 1/2 lb

How to make mexican chicken:

Saute onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons of oil. Add soups and chilies; add sour cream and chicken and season to taste. Heat for a few minutes. Crush Doritos slightly. Put layer of crushed chips on bottom of casserole, then layer of chicken mixture, then cheeses. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top. Bake at 350° until bubbly.
