Chicken chili



  • margarine - 1/4 lb
  • chopped onions - 2 item
  • tomato juice - 12 oz
  • American cheese, grated - 1 lb
  • can condensed milk - 1 item
  • tortilla chips, crumbled - 2 pkg
  • cans green chilies, chopped - 2 item
  • chickens, cooked and chopped - 2 item

How to make chicken chili:

Saute onions in margarine 20 minutes. Add chilies and chicken. In double boiler, melt cheese, tomato juice and condensed milk. In casserole dish, make layer of chicken mixture, then tortilla chips, then cheese sauce. Make at least 2 layers and cover with tortilla chips. Bake at 375° in preheated oven until bubbly hot. It freezes well.
