Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- hamburger - 1 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- uncooked macaroni
- tomato juice or sauce - 2 c
How to make macaroni casserole:
Melt butter in skillet; add macaroni. Stir to coat and brown slightly. Add beef and brown. Stir in tomato juice or sauce. Bring to boil. Mix in next 4 ingredients and salt and pepper. Transfer to 9 x 13-inch pan (can freeze for 1 month). Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Top with cheese.
