Macaroni casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 qt
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 lb
- large elbow macaroni - 2 c
- tomatoes plus 3/4 c - 1 qt
- several slices of butter or margarine - 1 item
How to make macaroni casserole:
Cook macaroni and salt in water for approximately 15 minutes. Drain and put half of macaroni in casserole dish. Slice half of cheese on macaroni. Pour in half of sweetened tomatoes. Repeat with other half of each. Put several slices of butter or margarine on top. Bake at 400° for approximately 50 minutes.Recipe categories: For large groups, Side dish, Pasta, rice and grains.
