  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • shortening - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • lemon slices - 1 item
  • chicken parts - 2 lb
  • tarragon leaves, crushed - 1/8 tsp

How to make luscious lemon chicken:

In skillet, brown chicken in shortening. Pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients except lemon slices. Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally. Chill overnight. Reheat in covered skillet about 15 minutes or until hot. Stir and garnish with lemon.
