- medium onion - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- liver - 1 item
How to make liver and onions:
Pound liver to make tender; salt. Batter with flour. Brown quickly on both sides in hot fat in heavy skillet. Reduce heat to simmer. Slice onion crosswise. Scatter over top of liver.
