Ingredients/Components
- water - 4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chopped tomatoes - 2 c
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- carrot, chopped - 1 item
- sticks chopped celery - 2 item
- pork fat - 3 Tbsp
- sprouted lentils - 3 c
- cooked sausages, sliced - 1/2 lb
How to make lentil soup:
In large kettle, combine first 4 ingredients. Saute, then add next 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Place in blender until smooth. Return to kettle and add sausage rounds and serve when heated through.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Pork.
