Ingredients/Components
- salt
- water - 6 c
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- chopped carrots - 2 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- tomato juice
- lentils - 1/2 lb
- other seasonings if desired: oregano, garlic or marjoram - 1 item
How to make lentil soup:
Combine the lentils and water in kettle. Cook for 30 minutes, or until lentils are tender. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until carrots are tender.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Pork.
