  • flour - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • Layer 2:2 eggs
  • sugar - 1 c
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp

How to make lemon squares:

Layer 2:2 eggs1 c. sugar1/2 tsp. salt2 Tbsp. lemon juice Mix ingredients for First Layer and press into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

Beat together all ingredients for Layer 2 and pour over partially baked crust. Bake 20 minutes at 300°. Cool and cut into squares.

A light sifting of powdered sugar may be put over top when partially cool to improve looks.
